THIS BEAUTIFUL SPACE

Here one breath
Silently slipped the next
I thought me quite set for your leaving
Though this time
Had been preparing myself
For departure I'm left bleeding

And oh what did you do
And oh what were you to
Us all, that you would leave such a silence when gone.

Though resolved
I was to that you'd go
I can't help but note I'm depleting
And this ache
Surely was a mistake
Since I was not intent on grieving

And oh what did you do
And oh what were you to
Us all, that you could leave such a silence when gone.
